Shine a Little Brighter This November at Steele Hair Gallery

At Steele Hair Gallery, we believe beauty goes far beyond great hair — it’s about the energy we put into the world and the kindness we share with our community. This November, we’re turning that belief into action with our Shine a Little Brighter campaign.

From November 1–30, we’re collecting non-perishable food items and grocery gift cards to support local families facing food insecurity. With recent changes to SNAP benefits, many households in our community are struggling to keep their kitchens stocked — and together, we can help lighten that load.

And because we believe good deeds deserve good hair, we’re adding a little something extra to say thank you.

Give Back and Get a Little Glow

When you bring 3 or more non-perishable food items (or a $10 grocery gift card) to your appointment, you’ll receive a FREE Shine Treatment added to your service.

Our Shine Treatment is a lightweight glossing service that seals the cuticle, enhances smoothness, and leaves your hair soft, silky, and light-reflective — without changing your color or weighing it down. It’s the perfect finishing touch for healthy, radiant hair that feels as good as it looks.

So while your hair is shining brighter, your kindness is too.

What to Bring

We’re collecting a variety of non-perishable and shelf-stable foods to help stock local food pantries with the items families rely on most. Every contribution helps fill a table and ease a little worry.

Most-needed items include:

• Canned tuna, chicken, and salmon

• Peanut butter or nut-free alternatives

• Pasta, rice, and dry beans

• Boxed mac & cheese or instant potatoes

• Shelf-stable milk (boxed or powdered)

• Canned fruits and vegetables

• Cereal, oatmeal, and granola bars

• Baby food and formula

• Pet food (often overlooked but deeply appreciated)

• Grocery store gift cards for fresh items
