On Saturday, October 3rd, we're throwing a party to celebrate the grand opening of Steele Hair Gallery's new location on Edgewood Avenue, and we'd love for you to be there.
Whether you've been sitting in our chairs since 2014, recently joined the SHG family, or have never stepped foot in our salon, consider this your official invitation.
We're celebrating the people who helped us get here, the community that continues to support us, and everything this next chapter has in store.

This celebration is about more than opening the doors to our new salon. It's about celebrating the community that helped us get here and giving back to an organization that means a whole lot to us.
We're asking each guest to bring one package of feminine hygiene products or other personal hygiene items for admission, with feminine hygiene products being our biggest priority.
Want to bring more? Please do! You'll receive additional raffle tickets for your donations, and every contribution helps support the young people served by TSI Cares Network.
Who Is TSI Cares Network?
If you haven't heard us talk about TSI yet, we'd love to introduce you!
TSI Cares Network is a Jacksonville-based organization supporting youth in foster care and young adults transitioning into independent living.
Steele Hair Gallery is incredibly proud to partner with TSI by providing hair services for the young people in their residential homes. This summer, we even hosted a cosmetology summer camp for approximately 11 of their residents, introducing them to our industry and giving them the opportunity to explore their creativity.
Our partnership has grown into something really special, and we have even more exciting things planned together.
TSI has also played an important role in helping us move forward with this expansion, making it especially meaningful to have them be part of our grand opening celebration.
Representatives from TSI will be joining us for the evening, and we hope you'll take a moment to meet them and learn more about the work they're doing in our community.

So, What Can You Expect at the Party?
We're opening up the entire salon for an evening of celebrating, connecting, and showing off the space we've spent the better part of a year bringing to life.
And yes, there will be plenty of food and drinks!
Our friends at Brother II Brother Catering and The Loop will be keeping everyone fed, with sweet treats from Bad Decisions Bakery to finish things off.
The bar, generously sponsored by our friends at Cowford Realty & Design, will be serving complimentary beer, wine, cocktails, and mocktails throughout the evening. We'll also have sodas and water available, and we're working hard to get our new kombucha tap up and running in time for the celebration. Fingers crossed!
We'll have a photo booth, plenty of opportunities to mingle, raffle prizes and giveaways throughout the evening, and a few surprises up our sleeves.
At 8 PM, we'll be raising a glass for a champagne toast to celebrate 12 years of Steele Hair Gallery, the people who helped us get here, and the beginning of this next chapter.
The entire salon will be open for guests to explore, so please make yourself at home! We've spent almost an entire year bringing this space to life, and we can't wait to show you around.

Throughout the evening, we'll be giving away prizes generously donated by businesses throughout Jacksonville, along with a few goodies from Steele Hair Gallery.
And the best part? There are plenty of opportunities to earn raffle tickets!
Every guest receives one complimentary raffle ticket upon admission, but you can earn additional tickets by supporting our donation drive, bringing new friends, or doing a little shopping.
Here's how it works:
Attend the grand opening: 1 raffle ticket.
Bring a friend who's new to Steele Hair Gallery: 1 bonus ticket for you AND your friend.
Donate additional packages of hygiene products: 1 bonus ticket per package.
Purchase products or hot tools: 1 bonus ticket per item purchased.
Raffle winners will be announced throughout the evening, and you must be present to claim your prize.

Do I need to be an existing Steele Hair Gallery client to attend?
Absolutely not!
In fact, we'd LOVE to meet some new faces.
Bring your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, or anyone else who might enjoy a fun evening celebrating a local business.
Whether you're a longtime client or someone who's been curious about checking us out, you're equally welcome here.
And don't forget, bringing a friend who's new to Steele Hair Gallery earns both of you an extra raffle ticket!
Can I bring my kids?
Of course!
Our events have always been full of families, and this celebration is no exception.
Children are welcome with adult supervision. Just keep in mind that this is an evening celebration with alcoholic beverages being served.
What's the dress code?
There isn't one!
Our team typically likes to dress up for these occasions, so if you've been looking for an excuse to break out your favorite cocktail attire, here's your chance.
But just like our salon, we want you to feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.
Dress up, dress down, or somewhere in between. We're just happy you're coming.
Do I need to RSVP or arrive right at 7 PM?
Nope! This is an open-house-style celebration, so you're welcome to stop by whenever works for you.
However, our complimentary gift bags are reserved for the first guests to arrive, and we'll be having a champagne toast at 8 PM.
Raffle prizes will also be awarded throughout the evening, so the longer you hang out, the more opportunities you'll have to win!
What time does the party end?
We'll let you know when we get tired!

Where should I park?
There's plenty of street parking throughout Murray Hill, but we're expecting a large turnout, so we recommend arriving early if you'd prefer not to walk too far.
Carpooling and ridesharing are encouraged when possible, especially if you plan to enjoy the complimentary bar.
Please celebrate responsibly and make arrangements for a safe ride home.
Is the new salon wheelchair accessible?
Yes, with two ADA compliant restrooms!
Will you be offering hair services during the party?
No services will be performed during the celebration, but our team will be available to meet guests, answer questions, and help you find the right stylist for your future appointments.

Through the construction, temporary location, endless moving boxes, changing timelines, and all the chaos that comes with growing a business, you've continued showing up for our clients and each other.
Steele Hair Gallery wouldn't be what it is without the people behind the chairs, and I'm so proud of the team we've built.
Twelve Years Later, We're Just Getting Started.
When Steele Hair Gallery opened in 2014, I couldn't have imagined everything that would happen within those original walls.
The clients who would become friends. The stylists who would become family. The relationships we'd build with other local businesses. The opportunities we'd have to give back to our community.
And eventually, the day we'd outgrow the space where it all began.
This move has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my career, and while I'm incredibly excited to finally show everyone what we've been working on, I'm even more excited about what this new space will allow us to do.
More room for our team to grow. More opportunities to educate and mentor the next generation of stylists. More ways to serve our clients and community.
And hopefully, many more years of great hair and even better company.
