Sometimes. It depends on the stylist and the type of service being scheduled. Deposits are typically required for longer or specialty appointments, such as color corrections or extensions, and go toward your final balance at checkout.
If a deposit is needed, you’ll be notified at the time of booking so there are no surprises.
We understand that things happen! If you’re running late, please text or call us as soon as possible to let us know your estimated arrival time. We allow a 15-minute grace period, but arriving later than that may require adjusting or rescheduling your service to avoid impacting the next guest’s appointment.
If we’re unable to service you because of a late arrival, it may be considered a no-show or late cancellation.
We value your time just as much as ours — if we’re ever running behind, we’ll reach out to let you know, and if that timing no longer works for you, there will be no cancellation fee.
Our time together is important — both yours and ours. These policies help us maintain fairness, respect everyone’s schedule, and ensure the Steele Hair Gallery experience runs smoothly for all.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We get it — life happens! All we ask is for open communication and at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel.
• Under 48 hours: 25% fee
• Same-day cancellation: 50% fee
• No-show: 100% fee
Each guest receives a one-time grace for true emergencies, because we believe in giving grace where it’s due. Repeated short-notice changes may require a deposit to rebook.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash and some digital payments such as Apple Pay and Android Pay.
Gratuity is never expected but always appreciated, and it’s not included in service pricing. You’re always welcome to add gratuity to your service total at checkout — stylists always receive 100% of their tips. To help reduce processing fees, cash or digital payment gratuities are also appreciated whenever possible.
If something doesn’t feel quite right, please reach out within 7 days so we can make it right. Complimentary adjustments are offered if your results differ from what we discussed — but not for a change of mind. We don’t offer refunds, but we’ll always work with you to ensure you love your hair.
